João Nuno Barrocas joined the firm in 1997 and is now a partner.
He is an experienced lawyer in cross-border M&A and other corporate and commercial transactions and in assisting large and medium-sized foreign companies with their investments in Portugal.
He has also gained significant experience in complex international financial transactions, such as syndicated cross-border loans and other lending transactions, as well as in capital markets. He has worked extensively in the energy sector, in particular in oil and gas projects. He regularly speaks at international forums and is recommended as a leading Portuguese lawyer in international directories and publications including Legal Experts and Chambers & Partners Global.
